Pizza. Chicken fingers. Prosecco. Baby monitor. Jackie came over for drinks & I accidentally called the prosecco “witches brew”. Yes, witches brew…I am a weirdo.

We spent the day at the Public Gardens & had lunch on Newbury Street. It would’ve been a perfect day if I wasn’t such a pill & Jay didn’t use his phone so much. There was much to gawk at people watching-wise. I have a hard time believing most people have mirrors in their house. I snapped this photo with my iphone as I forgot my camera. Not bad for a phone picture.  I wish I had taken some photos of the girls in ill fitting shorts & bad plastic surgery, as it would’ve been far more interesting.  Sigh.

He has only tried solid food twice. For some reason I thought that we would give avocado a shot today. He liked it. I know it doesn't look like he enjoyed himself. This face is because the paparazzi (read: momma) was in his face wielding the camera in one hand and the elusive spoon in the other. Already with the attitude.

Embrace the camera 8.19.10

Embrace the camera is a challenge set for by Emily at http://andersonfamilycrew.blogspot.com/ for moms to get out from behind the camera and take some photos with their kids.  So here on this ETC Thursday is a picture of me and Johnny hanging out on the couch…believe me I am none too pumped about this giant sized picture of my face.

Happy birthday to me.

Today is my 33rd birthday.  I could be all self important and list some goals that I want to accomplish in this year.  Look, Jesus died for my sins when he was 33…I could set a few measly goals.  However I don’t want to let myself down when I turn 34 and realize I didn’t do anything on my list.  That being said, I do have one goal & that is to take at least one picture every day that represents that day and upload it to this blog.  Of course I will add commentary otherwise how will I know what I was thinking/doing/seeing next year when I look back?  Then I will have my own personal year in review.  Take that Time magazine.

Such a sweet picture of my boy celebrating his momma's 33rd.

Look at these two party animals! Jay supplied the decorations & these two brought the fun.
